Hypengyophobia

A maximalist exploration of individual identity within a collective mass. This monochromatic piece uses repetition to create a sense of overwhelming accumulation, transforming a single motif into a landscape.

The canvas is populated by hand-sculpted white bowties, each unique in its fold and shadow. By stripping away color, the work highlights the subtle differences in form and the collective weight of the objects, creating a sea of complex, three-dimensional shadows.
